Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they both went to in Hamburg. The two knew at that point that it was a match made in heaven. Ashley aged seventeen at the time, and had never been in a relationship before, took her time. It was obvious that they loved each other from the very the first sight. The day before New Year's Eve, just prior to the beginning of 2016, Andrew wanted God to bless him with one more thing in the year... in the hope that Ashley could say yes and wed him. Ashley would like to create an authentic folk-style wedding that represented both her and Andrew. The couple incorporated a bit of everything they loved for the wedding day. The location was the 40 acres back of the land Ashley grew up on. Ashley went on a walk around the region and enjoyed herself on it all, from the route they took to the field, where the couple exchanged vows. Andrew and Ashley strolled through the exact area when they were together. Since the wedding was largely DIY, personalization played an integral aspect. Andrew and Ashley's father designed the arch for the ceremony and seating arrangements, and Ashley was in charge of painting and making decorations. Ashley says that the wedding wouldn't have been as beautiful without Anna's amazing floral designs, our wedding wouldn't have been as magical and romantic as I dreamed. Absolutely stunning.
